Overview
These are individual transmitters that can be used as a basis of a new pager system or added to an LRS pager system to either expand, replace or upgrade your current paging system.
Place the Butler II where you wish to enable anyone to contact your staff or guests with the push of a button. The LRS Butler II five-button pager transmitter has features which makes it especially suitable for situations such as customer service staff paging or doctor's interoffice paging. Inexpensive, small and battery-powered, the Butler II has five PC-programmed buttons and an input port for activation by doorbells or door sensors.

Programmable Buttons and Ports
The Butler II five-button has five buttons which can be programmed to transmit specific text messages or alert styles depending on the pager types being used. The buttons are programmed using software that runs on your PC and then the program is downloaded from the PC to the Butler transmitter using a USB cable. (The transmitter is only connected to PCs at programming time.)
The buttons can be programmed to:
- Signal any single pager
- Signal any group of pagers
- Send any text message to alphanumeric pagers (up to 200 letters)
- Send any alert-style to alert-only pagers.
Input Port: The Butler II has one port which may be connected to simple switchs such as doorbells or door sensors. The port is programmed for the same effects as the button for pagers signaled and messages sent. In addition, ports are programmed for their normal switch status as "normally open" or "normally closed".

How to Create a Butler II Push-for-Service System
The Add to Cart button of this listing allows you to order quantities of individual Butler II transmitters (with quantity discounts too) either to create new systems or to add to your existing LRS pager system for expansion, replacement or upgrades.
To create a complete Butler II Push-for-Service System, you will need:
- Butler II transmitters (as many as needed for every table, service counter, guest room, etc. as you need covered)
- Butler II programming kit with PC software and USB cable. (Butler IIs are only connected to PCs while being programmed.) (Only one is required for any number of transmitters.)
- Pagers (any combination of LRS pager types - as many as needed for every server or manager who needs to respond to the pager calls)
- Optional pager wrist straps (pagers include belt clips but wrist straps are a good way to wear pagers too)
- Optional repeater transmitters (Butler IIs have ranges of a few hundred feet in open air but repeaters can increase the range of groups of pagers up to a mile.) See LRS Pager Components: TX-7471-C232 Pager Repeater Transmitter
 Alphanumeric Manager Pager
Butler II transmitters may be used in combination with LRS alphanumeric pagers (shown, right). Pager text messages may be up to 200 characters long.

Program Kits
Program kits let you use your Windows PC to assign text messages and target pagers to buttons and set other functions. Kits include software and programming cable. (Transmitters are only connected to PCs at programming time.)
Program Kits are not included as part of this product listing. (See Related Products below for a link.) Only one program kit is needed per set of transmitters. Note that the programming kit for the Butler II is not the same as the programming kit for the Butler XP and PRONTO.)
